‘Don’t call yourself a patriot after sympathising with terrorists’: Yogeshwar Dutt to Naseeruddin Shah

The issue of growing violence and intolerance in the country by the famous film actor Naseeruddin Shah is not going to end here. Now Olympic bronze medalist wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt has tweeted on the criticism of Naseeruddin Shah’s statement. Let us Explain that Nasiruddin Shah had said in a statement that he is afraid of the present environment of the country, because today the cow has become more important than a police inspector in the country. This statement of Nasiruddin Shah is being linked to the violence in Bulandshahr, where 2 people, including a police inspector, were killed in the violence in the name of cow slaughter. Naseeruddin Shah’s statement has taken political color. While the right wing organization is criticizing Naseeruddin Shah’s statement, the Congress has supported Naseeruddin Shah’s statement.

Yogeshwar Dutt, while tweeting on Friday, addressed Nasiruddin Shah, “A terrorist organization kidnapped citizens of India and Bangladesh and later left Bangladesh after seeing the religion of Bangladesh, and killed all 39 Indians. Then you did not get angry? Did you not feel scared while signing the mercy petition of terrorist Yakub Memon?

In another tweet, Yogeshwar Dutt wrote that “We all are very sorry for the people who died in the incident of Bulandshahr, but before that, there were so many riots and innocents who did not know before, then you did not fear? It only makes sense to whose side you are. Please do not call yourself patriot after supporting the mercy petition of the terrorists. “In the protest against the statement of Nasiruddin Shah, some right wing organizations also fumed at the Ajmer Literature Festival on Friday. Because of which the organizers had to cancel the program of Nasiruddin Shah.
