Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of several schemes during his visit to Varanasi today and inaugurated several schemes. PM Modi distributed checks to beneficiaries of various schemes being run by the Central Government and presented e-rickshaw to many people in a program organized at DLW ground (Diesel Engine Factory Ground). He presented the keys of the new house to the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Earlier, he flagged off the Varanasi-Patna Express-15125/15126 train.
The Prime Minister also observed an exhibition about sanitation in the factory ground. During this time, many senior leaders including Union Railway Minister Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were present. While addressing the public meeting, the Prime Minister thanking the people of Varanasi said that the manner in which the people of Varanasi welcomed the President of France was wonderful and for this he thanked the people here. Regarding the garbage festival, the Prime Minister said that the junk can also be made as a tool of employment by proper disposal and collection. It can be made a mass movement. He said that in the Garbage Festival we can see and learn how poorly used bad things can be used, it can be seen here. The PM said that the campaign to free Kashi and Banaras from hanging electric wires is being carried out. There is now a work of laying wire on the ground. Earlier, the MSP was declared in UP but the farmers’ crops were not purchased, today the procurement government under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath has increased 4 times. The purchase of sugarcane has increased by 40 per cent. He said that we all will take Kashi together at the new height of development.
The Prime Minister referring to the program Ayushman India, said that poor families will be benefited from this scheme. Under the Ayushmann Bharat Scheme, the central government will pay a sum of up to Rs 5 lakhs in a year to support all the medical expenses. He said that we started the Nutrition Mission by imposing 9000 crores rupees. He said if our children are healthy, malnutrition will be removed, both the mother and child are healthy is the sole aim of the Nutrition Mission Plan started by the government of India. Before the public meeting, Prime Minister Modi and President of France Immanuel Macroon released a solar power plant in Mirzapur. After this, the two leaders took a boat ride in the holy river Ganga. On Monday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of France Immanuel Macrocon arrived in Varanasi, where he was greeted and welcomed by the state government. Both the leaders inaugurated Solar Power Plant in Mirzapur. After this, the two leaders went to Ganga Ghat. Here the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed them. After this, the three leaders boarded a special boat and enjoyed boating. The Prime Minister during the inauguration said that solar energy will transform India and will empower India to help other nations to meet the demand for clean energy.
