India will not leave its policy of pressure on Pakistan in any situation. In Jammu and Kashmir, near the Line of Control, the Indian Army will maintain its plans to dominate Pakistan through strategic campaigns and aggressive stance, even though the firing from both sides is nearing the border and the people living near the border have suffered a lot.
The villages on either side (India and Pakistan) adjacent to LoC have also been evacuated. Indian security has been established with regard to maintaining constant pressure over the Pakistani army, unless it is directly inclined to bend or calm down. In other words, the Indian army will continue its operations till the terrorist activities from across the border stop. A top official said on Friday (March 9th), ‘Let’s see how long Pakistan is clearly suffering from pain, it is capable of catching pressure. We are not ready for any DGMO level talks or friendly atmosphere, sitting face-to-face with Pakistan.’ On the other hand, eight months after the Obstruction of Dokalam, the government has added the personnel of Armed Forces who have lost their life or injured during the protection of China-India border by expanding the scope of the “special” pension scheme, but the government has not confirmed on the old demand of the army to implement it with the effect. The liberal family pension was applicable only to the personnel of the Armed Forces deployed with Pakistan and on the international border. Under this pension, 100 percent of last salary is given. Under normal circumstances, only 30 percent of the last salary is available in the form of family pension. The situation between the armies of the two countries are at stake as India is firm that talk would only resume if the Pakistani Army stops to help the terrorists from infiltrating to the Indian side.
