IM Man Junaid Became a Teacher in Nepal After Escaping Batla House: Cops

In September 2008, there were serial blasts in Paharganj, Connaught Place, Greater Kailash and Barakhamba of Delhi. At least 26 people were killed in these blasts. Delhi Police was looking for Junaid in this connection. Police say that Junaid was present at the Batla house encounter, but he managed to escape from his execution. Junaid is originally from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. Some reports have said that NIA had a prize money of Rs 15 lakh on Junaid. A few days after the Delhi serial blast, on September 19, 2008, there was an encounter between the police and the alleged extremists in the Batla House area of ​​Delhi. In that encounter, two boys named Sajid and Atif were killed, whom the police described as extremists. In the same encounter, Inspector of Special Cell of Delhi Police, MC Sharma was shot. He later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Local people and human rights activists called it a fake encounter but the Human Rights Commission refused to accept it.
